Accounts and declarations of solvency. Powers of attorney and stock market notices. Client briefings and business terms. Account and charge card conditions. Statements of account and guarantees.
Our assignments for banks at home and abroad are very varied. They can be T&C for debit and credit cards, general business conditions governing the relationship between the bank and private/business customers.
Accounts and stock market notices are urgent jobs that require high-level precision. They may be texts that have been specially adapted for publication. As translators we have to continuously tweak the foreign-language version to have the translation ready at the same time as the Danish version. Accounts for banks otherwise adhere to a slightly special terminology, which the translator has to be alert to, differing slightly as it does from other companies’ accounts.
For private clients we translate documents like statements of account, declarations and guarantees from the bank. These may be associated with visa or loan applications. Applications for a visa to some countries require proof of appointment, income and nationality, and here it will often be relevant to translate statements of account.
